Stations name 31st annual
"Indiviual of the Year"

Sayre Boro Council President and local historian Henry Farley is the 31st WATS/WAVR, Joe Wolf Memorial "Individual of the Year." The award, which recognizes outstanding community service, is named in memory of the lat Sayre businessman and civic servant, Joe Wolf.

The radio stations made the presentation at this week's Sayre Boro Council Session, surprising the longtime Boro Servant during the "Citizens to be Heard" portion of the regular monthly meeting.

WATS/WAVR General Manager Chuck Carver cited Farley's Tireless and undending work in the community, through so many organizations: Guthrie, Council, The Library Board, The Sayre and County Historical Societies, his church, and beyond.

This is the 31st year the radio stations have honored the community service contributions of local residents.
